August 25, 2010 – Sandals, St. Lucia

For the next four weeks I am going to feature the ‘Sandals’ properties in the Caribbean starting with their resorts in St. Lucia. What more appropriate way to start off the Honeymoon Escapes edition with resorts that symbolize love and luxury.

If you’ve never been to St. Lucia, it’s one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. If I had to describe this island it be a cross between Hawaii and Costa Rica. With lush rain forests, volcanoes, exotic wildlife, this island has much more to offer than just it’s beaches. If you are planning to stay at one of the three Sandals Resorts then you’re in for a treat as you stay at one, you play at all three. This means you get to experience all the amenities at all three resorts with complimentary transfers included to and from each resort every day which are minutes from each other.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort

Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort

If privacy is what you’re looking for why not stay in one of their unique beachfront rondovals which includes a private plunge pool or choose your own swim up-room. This resort is nestled in it’s own peninsula which adds more privacy and spectacular views of the mountains. This is truely luxury at it’s finest with lots of amenities on site and a beautiful beach for those romantic walks.

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa

This resort sports the ‘largest’ pool on the island of St. Lucia. With it’s half acre long beach on a 210 acres estate, this is a resort that caters to both honeymooners, the spa & golf course. There is a 9 hole complimentary golf course on site for those who want to dabble in a little sport while their significant other visits the spa. With lots of room choices, this resort is known for it’s lavish suites that have their own private pool and whirlpool with some including butler service. If you want breathtaking views, stay in one of their Sunset Bluff suites which overlook the ocean.

Sandals Halcyon Beach

Sandals Halcyon Beach

Known for it’s dining experience at the 150 ft. Pier Restaurant on the ocean, this resort is set amongst some of the most beautiful tropical gardens with rainforests and volcanoes nearby. Three pools are on-site with two of them having swim-up bars. With lots of amenites offered at this resort, why not choose this island adventure and give scuba diving a try which is included.
